Jesus, my Lord and master, help me to remember, the greatness of the work assigned to me by you.  Make me always remember that I am working with the most precious and delicate thing in the world, the mind of a child.  Help me always to think that, the impressions which my acts and words make in that mind will be lasting. 

Make me patient, while dealing with those children, who are slow to learn and refuse to learn sometimes.  Help me to exercise discipline with love.  Keep me from  making sarcastic remarks.  Bless me to bless them and to encourage them to do the best. 

Help me to make them think for themselves and to be creative whenever and wherever they have to be.  In the midst of worries and frustrations of my job, bless me to remember that, I have to deal with my children with great care as they are the children of God and the future of the world depends on them. 

This I ask for Your love’s sake. Amen.
