PARLIAMENT ACTIVITIES

PARLIAMENT ACTIVITIES

As part of the D.El.Ed curriculum, teacher trainees engage in simulated parliamentary activities each term. In these sessions, trainees elect peers to fill roles such as Prime Minister, Speaker, and various ministers in a democratic manner. Positions include ministers for Education, Liturgy, Health and Sanitation, Documentation and Publication, and Garden and Silence. Each role holds specific responsibilities, allowing trainees to collaboratively manage and conduct daily curriculum activities with structure and purpose. This hands-on approach to leadership and organizational skills not only enriches their educational experience but also prepares them for real-world responsibilities within school environments.

The Aim

The aim of these parliamentary activities is to cultivate leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills among teacher trainees, enabling them to effectively manage responsibilities within educational settings.
